Maybe it's the tea talking or maybe it's just my want to get something started to support, encourage and celebrate fanfiction writers here on DA.    It would not be much but for recognition and claim to glory but hopefully something could come out of it.  So this is my suggestion.

Every month I am going to host a fanfiction competition here on DA.  You can submit any style of based upon Anime, Manga, Cartoon, book, TV show or anything like that....but please, no Twilight! My stomach can't handle that...seriously.   For the , you get the glory of being given a title for that month but no prize.  At least not for you.  There will be a price but it's a different type of prize.  I've really been thinking over the past few days how humanity can be so greedy.  Only wanting to do something if they get something in return and most of the time it's money or a trip to some fancy beach. But not this time, kids... oh no!!  Here's how this goes.

For every winner, I will personally donate $5 to the Suzan G Breast Cancer Research, the Shriner's Foundation for Childhood Lukemia or the SPCA.  Of course the winner can choose which foundation will get the money.  My business already donates $10 a month to my local Humane Society but that's not enough in this world.  This donation can be made in your name! So in a way, you are winning a very honorable prize (Even though it's my money.. LOL, but do I care? No. This is how I will do this.)   You submit the work, I will donate the prize and you get the happiness.  Everybody wins.


I'll be thinking up the rules and see how it goes from there. But I would also like your feed back on this. How is that?

Also, I want to point out two of my favorite artists here on DA who voiced their opinion on SOPA and PIPA. I would like to share their works!! Our voices are the power that can make or change the world. Even though they're quiet right now and often timed brushed aside, when we all get together and scream, our voices become louder than one.   Who came up with PIPA?  It sounds like a name for a Chihuahua...  Which reminds me! I've renamed my adopted Chihuahua Yo-Yo San....because he's a friggen yo-yo, up down, up down, up down, up down....geesh, tires me out just watching him. LOL

I hope to do my own drawing against SOPA/PIPA too.  Ren's not happy with all of this and he wants to voice his opinion on the matter...which knowing him will either include violence or nudity or both! He's such a team player. *Smacks the Zanpakutou's tooshie*
